The University of Arkansas is having a moment, buoyed by the success across all sports.

There's something special, brewing in Fayetteville, and that's not lost on U of A Chancellor Dr. Charles

Robinson.

Athletic success helps the brand and you know you people see us on TV and

and then they say man that's something happening.

Robinson is the first African American chancellor

in the university's history, and he understands

how the razorbacks impact so many.

After all, he grew up admiring Nolan Richardson's Arkansas teams.

The fact that he was having success in the SEC in that way gave me a sense of pride as an

African American in Texas.

And so his reach was beyond Arkansas

in terms of how people saw his accomplishments

as a, you know, this is progress.
