Thank you, Ben. Well, here we are in Chicago, where it didn't look like we were going to arrive

at at at all, but a confident bunch of Chicago Chicago ball players made it possible. And believe me,

we are looking for a good ball game here today. Manager Al Lopez of the Chicago White

Sox has nominated early win as his starting pitcher. This will be early third start in the World Series.

And manager Wal Alston has nominated the great left-hander Johnny Padres as his starting pitcher.

Johnny will be making his second start in this World Series.

The weather is quite cool here today, and naturally there will not be as many people in the Chicago White Sox ballpark as there were in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

They broke the all-time World Series record then when 92,706 people saw the fine ball game that was won by the White Sox won to nothing.

I have never seen a more confident group of ball players that are on this field today than the Chicago White Sox.

I recall in the Coliseum on Tuesday, manager Al Lopez said that if he could win this ball game,

he was sure that they could go on and win the two games in Chicago and become the world's champions.

Well, of course, he has his back to the wall, and I believe sincerely that he realizes that.

It has only been done a few times where our club has been down three to one and come on to win it.

Now, the Chicago players feel that being in their own ballpark, which is much bigger

than the Coliseum, as far as left field is concerned, at least, and they will not have those
