Cletus Boer is giving a bit of a rest.

He's been playing real fine defensive ball,

but hasn't been hitting the way Casey Stinger would like to see

him hit so he figures his jail two rest might get him timed up a little more when he puts him back in a lineup he'll start

building that ball the way he knows he can. Mickey Mantle is in center field

hitting third. Yogi Berra batting in a clean- spot and doing the catching, Helston Howard at first

base hitting fifth, Ekul Lopez batting in the sixth position playing left field, Gil McDougal, batting seventh

and playing third base.

At second base, sitting in the eighth position, Bobby Richardson,

and doing the pitching and batting ninth, Duke Mock.

For the Boston Red Sox, leading off playing second base, Pumpsby Green. Gary Geiger batting in the second position and playing Centipales.

Pete Reynolds will be playing first-rate, batting third.
