Well, good morning, beautiful. Welcome to a brand new day of life. Happy Thursday, my friends. Look at that.

Man, this week is going by so fast. I am so grateful that you're joining me today. I am so happy that you're alive today.

Like, I don't know what God had to do to keep you alive through yesterday. I don't know what miraculous

work he did behind the scenes to wake you up to life again today. But here you are, and I am so

thankful for it. Let's do devotional together. The title of today's episode of the Big Life devotional podcast is

because of one. It's easy to look around and ask what happened to our world. Why have things gotten so bad?

Whose fault is this? The truth is it all began with the sin of one.

The failure of one introduced sin and our perfect world was forfeited. And that doesn't seem fair, does it?

It really doesn't seem fair.

It seems so totally unfair that someone we don't even know forever ago screwed up,

and now we all pay the price for it.

But isn't there someone else a really long time ago that we haven't met in person who did something right that paid the price to save us? Neither are fair. We are fallen because of one

and we are saved because of one. And that's not really easy to understand.

Romans chapter 5 verses 18 through 21 explain this to us. It says, yes, Adams, one sin brings condemnation for

everyone. But Christ's one act of righteousness

brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God,

many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God,

many will be made righteous. God's law was given so that all people could see how sinful

they are. But as people send more and more, God's wonderful grace became more

abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God's wonderful
