The Dodgers and Milwaukee Braves during their warming up right now as we await the start

of this ballgame to be the third meeting between the two clubs, the dodges and braves of each one-one.

We had quite a downfall of rain at about ten minutes of seven.

However, the infield was completely covered by tarpaulin, and it appears to be in very good shape.

The outfield, there are no noticeable puddles, however I imagine the grass is a bit wet and slippery.

The cinder track, which surrounds the entire playing area, both in fair and foul ground,

shows many, many puddles, and especially in left and the old and in right.

The groundkeepers right now are trying to push off the water and dry it out as best they can.

The Braves had some batting practice, but then the downpour came, so actually neither

club had much of a workout, neither club having either infield or batting practice.

National League start. Nugam has completed 101 ball games. Magley, on the other hand, the only

other active Dodger pitcher with 200 starts, and he's completed 87. Newcomb has been a very winning pitcher, especially on the road away from Edwards.
