Oh, good. Good afternoon, great-for fans. This is Bob Neal and Ebbets Field in Brooklyn,

where we're set to bring you the sixth game of the World Series between the New York

Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Broadcasting these World Series games is a part of Gillette's continuous cavalcade of

port which joined the air features such outstanding events as the Rose Bowl game, Blue Gray

game, Kentucky Derby, all-star baseball game, and the fight of the week every Friday night.

It's another beautiful day here in Ebbetsville with the sun shining widely, the temperature in the upper 60s,

and the wind, which has been a factor in a couple of the games played so far, is again today going to be a factor,

because it's blowing out of the northwest and the velocity

they tell us will reach somewhere near 25 miles per hour at game time.

The wind is blowing out towards right center field and here in Ebbets

feel at right center field line is a very attractive thing for left-headed batters.

The right field foul line is 297 feet. There's a 40 foot fence that goes up straight up

but that has been no deterrent to these great hitters so far. Now on the field now

the two starting pictures are starting to loosen up.

This is the sixth game of the world series.

That's the official title that they've given this game today, but there's much more than just the sixth game being discussed.
