Now, look, Al, what happened in these last two games from a player's viewpoint? Well, strictly from a player's viewpoint, we feel that one base hit in either ball game or even a

fly ball in either ball game, the game might have gone the other way.

We ran into magnificent pitching, a terrific defensive ball club.

Even though I must say for our own pitcher, I think our pitches were as good as anything we saw from the Giants.

We just didn't get the runs that the Giants did.

They capitalized more on opportunities.

I thought the Win picked a Olympic game yesterday.

Johnny's come a long way since I saw in the spring, and he certainly deserves the reputation that we've received that we've heard about him.

John, he certainly is one of the final left-handers in the game.

He's certainly as good as anything we've seen in our league.
