Summary

On this final day of June, we’re celebrating this final day of Pride Month with a look back at three of our favorite conversations from trailblazing voices in the LGBTQ community. Amit Paley, the executive director and CEO of The Trevor Project is doing life-saving work leading the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. Rosemary Ketchum made history when she became the first transgender person elected to a public office in West Virginia. Jeffrey Marsh is a non-binary rights activist, speaker, and author who is best known for making inspirational videos that have been seen more than a billion times, teaching self-love and acceptance. Each of these conversations invites listeners to learn and understand the LGBTQ community, to celebrate the progress in this space, and the opportunity for continued support ahead. -------- Imma keep some healthy space from social for a bit and am bringing it on email. Feels right, and actually a little more personal, tbh. We’re basically one-way pen pals when you follow this link and drop your email here. —> mrdavehollis.com Dave's book Built Through Courage is available now! Dave was recently confronted with the fact that he was living the life someone else wanted for him. After weathering a highly publicized personal crisis amid the backdrop of an international pandemic and navigating the enjoyable but unpredictable waters of being a single father to four kids, he has been forced to become the captain of his own life and is ready to teach others how to do the same.
