Welcome to Comic Geek speak. This is your host, Peter Rios.

As the title suggested, this episode is a conversation with Steve Bryant and Dave Duanch

for their new Kickstarter campaigns that both launched

on or around June 18th and are running until July 18th. It's a conversation with me, but

ultimately and really the point of the episode, it's a conversation with each other.

Dave and Steve have known each other for a very long time.

They've appeared on CGS individually multiple times as early as 2006,

and they've been to a bunch of our live gatherings.

They've certainly been peers on the convention circuit, but this was the first time they were on a podcast together. So bringing them together

just made sense as a way for them to get a chance to converse, to laugh, to share their

creative process, and more. They are incredibly supportive of each

other online through their campaigns, and I feel listeners will benefit greatly from their

experience, from their honesty, from their love of the work, and just from their

excitement as they bring their campaigns to you all.
