We got Louise hey on the show today and she's gonna talk about something that you already know about, which is how the thoughts you think and the words you use and say create your life.

And if you want to change your life,

you have to change the way you think,

and you have to change the words you use.

One of the most important things I've ever done,

I've told you about this before,

was to learn how to challenge myself talk, how to recognize the deletions, distortions, and generalizations

in myself talk and also the words that I spoke openly and outwardly.

And when you do that, when you become aware of the words that you're using, you start to understand that a lot of what you say and you think is not even close to the truth, you start to go, oh, I can have new thoughts.

I can have different beliefs, beliefs that are actually true,

because a lot of our beliefs are things we learned

when we were really small, and we've never as adults gone back as adults to

from an adult point of view I should say to examine and look at those beliefs and go oh oh my gosh, that's actually not true.

Oh, that's somebody else's belief and that's why their life turned out the way that it did,

but now I have a choice to scrutinize that belief and recognize that it's not true.

And when you recognize that you believe is not true,

then you get to think different things

and you get to say different things.
