Well, good morning, beautiful. Welcome to a brand new day of life. Happy Friday, my friends. We have

made it through the week. We have ourselves a holiday weekend ahead.

Woo-hoo! Celebrating kind of the ceremonial end of summertime. And I hope that you just plan to

live big and live well and savor the time that God has given you.

So this week we've actually been studying together Romans chapter 1.

And really the point of all the devotionals this week have been just to kind of show you

how I have found it useful to sit down with my Bible, slow down, read it verse

by verse, and do a deeper study on the verses that stand out to me are things that I don't

understand. So this week we've been hanging out all in Romans chapter one and we're going to wrap up

chapter one and kind of tiptoe into

chapter two and I just want to encourage you to read it for yourself. I'm not going over

everything in the entire chapter and honestly there are parts of chapter one that are a little

bit like, ouch! Because God's word can be very clear. It's sharper than a two-edged sword, right?

It can just cut through all the nonsense and be like straight to it. So I really just recommend that

you read it for yourself. I'm not reading all of it in the devotionals. I'm picking out parts

of it and really going deeper. So that's what we're doing this week.
