Ridley Field in Chicago, we have something that may turn out to be not to our liking because the skies right now are very dark,

more than threatening, and they're very overcast.

The temperature is in the 70s, and we have a slight wind going from behind home plate out towards

center field.

But the rain has been falling since about 1 o'clock and of course it necessitates our waiting you slightly to see whether or not this

ballgame is actually going to get underway and of course the thousands that have poured in here

to Rickley Field in Chicago.

I see sort of helping that this ball, the first in this 45 series,

here in the city of Chicago,

will get underway a beautiful Wrigley Field.
