The last sort of big project we did or the big chunk of stuff we did was to talk about Stalingrad and we've had an excellent response from our listeners and it's been a thing that people have really, really gone for.

That led me to thinking and also because we have Ways Fest 3 in September. This is the thing we've decided on as a theme.

Well, exactly. When this idea occurred to me, I started to sort of draw up a list of what went on in 1943.

It's a year where more happens. Ten pole events happen, perhaps than any other.

So I think it is. I've also been giving quite a lot of thoughts to Stalingrad, what it means, what they could have done.

I mean, because you do these, we do these kind of deep dives.

Afterwards, in idle moments, you're kind of walking the dog and you're thinking, what could have been different and stuff.

I kind of quite thinking they should have just gone to Moscow.
