Welcome back to What Have You. I'm Rachel Jankovic. I'm Becca Merkel. It's a new year, guys.

Which we haven't podcasted because the summary of our life has been wow, wow, wow.

Don't you think that that would be the accurate summary? Let's just call this episode that.

And then we have, wow, episode of just life experience, Christmas, the new year, everything.

I have the baby. You have another child engaged. Yes, we just, we can't, we can't get enough of it.

Okay, let's slow down. Let's back it up. We had Christmas. No, first before Christmas, we had the baby.

We had the baby on the 13th, which I was confident because I was doing the 17th.

Then all my kids were like Christmas is a Sunday that baby could be baptized on Christmas day.

And I was like, guys, I cannot see a way in which I'm going to give birth and be ready to be at church.

Like, because I'm thinking, well, what I've had, had babies late before. So I'm like, you know, the 20th, if you give birth, will you really be ready to blast out the door Christmas morning?

I was like, it's not happening properly. That's the answer.

But as it turns out, we did have our sweet little guy baptized Christmas day because he was born the 13th, which I have always

envied people whose water broke because I felt like if your water breaks, then you're just like, wow, clear signal.

It turns out that it's not always a clear signal. It's just sort of more ambiguous question marks, but by water did break this time.

And then we had him, I guess 24 hours later, I wasn't really in labor when my water broke, so whatever.

And he surprised us by Meena Downs, baby, which was super, it's actually funny because so this was a, we call it a leaky advent.

We got choked up a lot.

The leaky advent is basically, it went a little leaky out this time.

It's so title of this episode.

Yeah, well, I think it's because you cannot talk about things that you hold very closely and dearly without getting like, wow.

Yeah.

And having a Downs baby turns out prompts you to talk about all the things that you really deeply care about.
