0:33.7	Matt is one of the founding developers of the WordPress platform, which if you don't
0:40.4	know how many of the websites you go to, I believe that 36% of the web is now run on WordPress.
0:52.6	That includes my website, I believe it also includes sites like the New York Times, WordPress
0:59.0	is everywhere, and it's an open source platform, but Matt in 2005 started the company Automatic,
1:07.7	which is now what drives WordPress.com and WooCommerce and many other companies, they recently
1:14.7	acquired Tumblr.
1:15.7	I wanted to speak to Matt because he has unique insight into running distributed teams.
1:24.1	As you'll hear, Automatic is entirely distributed.
1:26.8	They have over 1,100 employees working in, I believe, 75 countries.
1:33.8	So Matt has been thinking for a long time about the advantages and challenges of working
