A little news to start this podcast,

Howie didn't wait, which is nice.

Yeah, generally when how he leaks stuff, I mean when news breaks it's after we know this one

I don't want to speculate where it came from but yeah it's pretty clear that

Jason P and you know if there had been all these whispers and

reports and rumors this wouldn't be surprising exactly the Eagles with their

comments last week at the combine kind of set up this weird situation for the last week but they announced on

Thursday morning that they will let Jason Peters hit the free agent market

doesn't necessarily rule out a return but certainly makes it much less likely.

I'm Dave Zengaro and I mean it is big news it's not maybe all that surprising in the grand scope of

things that think about a 38 year old when you have a young 25 year old he

drafted last year but certainly it was a weird

situation over the last week. Yeah and the Eagles put themselves in this position

by kind of leaving the door open and being vague about it.

It really reminded me of Doug in his press conference a couple days after the season ended

when he kind of was vague and confusing and you know kind of inscrutable talking about his coaching staff and

just kind of increased the rumors and and you know I understand he doesn't

want to hurt feelings he doesn't want to let you know break news
