share this with everyone. So here we are jumping on for a quick bonus episode today. And here's the mindset shift, you guys. It's called The Gap and the Game. I did not come up with this. It's the title of a book by Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy. I'll link it here in the show notes for you guys. But here's the gist of it.

And it's so powerful. And I want you to hear this out because I think this can apply.

Yes, it will apply to your motherhood. But it also applies to every other space in which we have

goals, in which we have expectations, in which we're trying to grow and change and evolve, right,

and do things differently, new habits we're trying to form.

All of this stuff can be affected by how we look at and think about the gap and the gain.

Let's say we have a goal, right?

I'll use the example that I had with my client this week that I was talking

about. So her goal was that every single morning before she got out of bed in the morning,

she was going to have some time of just like stretching and stillness and just like being and

setting an intention for her day instead of starting her day with just this like chaotic energy

of like go go go all of this false urgency all of this anxiety to start her day she was going to

stop stop waking up with that energy starting that day with her energy and she was going to set

some intention and do a gratitude practice and stretch out her body and have

some moments of stillness before her feet even hit the ground in the morning, right? That was really

important for her. She knew that would move the needle for her. And I love it. So we talked about it.
