And now after Kermiski Park and Hal Totten, who is going to interview one of your favorite players, right from the playing field.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Good afternoon from Kermiski Park, the home of the white spots at Chicago, where we take

the air from the field, but in midst of one of the dark on the demonstrations we've ever seen

at a ballpark, and what a thrill it is all the way through.

It's Lions Day, you know, the International Lions Exposition or whatever, what is it anyway?

Anyway, they're having a big gathering here this week, and it's Lions Day out here at Kamiski Park.

Bands from all over the United States are here parading around the field.

The bands from Manasha, Wisconsin, the high school championship band has formed the letter W out of the outfield back of second base in their cadet gray trousers and blue jacket

and the white pom-poms. A marvelous band right in front of us now is the Flandrow band,

all decked out in red coats and white trousers. And all these bands are good many of the

members of the band are girls. The Michigan bands were from Benton Harbor paraded the field just a

moment ago. A whole Florida delegation which came in in a automobile train of 47 cars. It was

gathered a few of them right here

but a whole bunch of them over back

at the first baseline

including one fellow that weighs

at least a 500 pounds more than me

wearing a bathing trunk
