The first man to bat with the Tigers is Jojo White, the center fielders. Left-handed batter, White so far has two hits in the series. He's a tremendous field of this fellow, one of the best hunter-fielders in baseball today. He can go and travel out there in the outfield. He has a good, sure, steady arm, but his hitting this year has not been so strong. And consequently, manager Mickey Kotlin has had to do quite a bit of shifting around with his outfield.

Pubbs were on the first game, three to nothing. Tigers won the second game, 8 to 3. Next 50 drives, foul, a liner into the boxes down the right field line. There's the usual scamp to the ball down there. You know a baseball is doing a regular game of the season as the 12 souvenir.
