This is from John. He said, at camp one year, a student from our group had been learning sign language to communicate with a mute and autistic friend of his.
1:48.8	Now, this was something we all thought was pretty cool.
1:56.1	But one night after service, we saw him surrounded by a group of girls outside the cafeteria, fully signing like he was deaf.
1:59.8	We thought this was a little cringe, but we didn't think much of it.
2:04.9	Until we called his name, made eye contact, and he ignored us.
2:12.4	Turns out he was pretending to be deaf, so he could flirt by teaching ASL and communicating through his notes app.
2:17.1	One of his friends even decided to play along and loudly prayed for him to be healed.
2:20.4	The girls joined in not knowing any better.
2:25.6	And we all watched as this fake deaf kid stood there getting prayer for a miracle he did not need.
