Today I have a story that's a little bit of a departure from the lengthy multi-part

episodes that we've been putting out there for you lately.

It's a story that many of you have probably heard about.

This happened about, hmm, I want to say maybe seven or eight years ago or so.

And I just got reminded of it recently.

I mentioned it on Facebook in a post that kind of hinted at it.

And because there is a bit of a criminal backstory from the early 2000s, and the story seemed

across over state lines here in the southwest between California, Arizona, and Nevada.

I figured it was something that was worth telling on our show.

Not a heavy story, but it's definitely a lot of drama.

So let's dive right in.

Almost 20 years ago, all the way back on August 16, 2001, a woman named Amanda Patricia

Bossingham committed somewhat of a serious crime.

It was a felony.

So I mean, considering we're usually discussing murders and things like that on the show,

it's not nearly as serious, but still it got her into some trouble.

So Amanda, she applied for a line of credit with M and I bank, and that's Marshall and

Isley Corporation, which is a bank and diversified financial services corporation that eventually

was purchased by the Bank of Montreal in 2010.

So Amanda had opened a line of credit with this bank in the amount of $15,000, but she

did so using the social security number of another person.
