John Admas's gaming masterpiece noir world heroes if you're a loyal listener of this podcast, you know that I love the noir genre.

Noir is one of the great American artistic movements of the 20th century.

It's become so much more than its source material, and it's been inspiring

gamers like me and noir world designer John Admus since gaming broke the surly bonds of

Dungeons and Dragons back in the late 70s.

We have featured a lot of noir stories on one shot, and a lot of game systems that are made

to emulate noir.

However, none have been so refined, so specifically engineered to capture the spirit of noir

as noir world. I had an opportunity to get a preview of noir world at Metatopio

last year and just from the short character creation session that I was able to play I was instantly in love
