And in this episode, we speak with really an amazing advocate

for a problem that we are diving into really an epidemic the epidemic of missing and

murdered indigenous women and that is something that is is new to me and so I am

really thankful to Jody and our guest from last week,

Carolyn, to introducing this problem to me personally.

And so I'm really happy to get to introduce it to the audience as well.

Yeah, it is an epidemic like you said and I would even add on

marginalize to missing and murdered.

There's a marginalized component to the native culture as well

and we had Caroline Smith Morris on the podcast.

She has written articles, she is an advocate,

she is a legislative force, I guess.

She's also a professor but she she is really at the

forefront of someone who's not native trying to bring awareness to this cause

at least from what we've seen.
