ABOUT THIS EPISODE Jordan Blanton (@JBla174) is a bad man. He won 3 Illinois State titles, with his only loss coming in the IHSA state finals in 2007 against the great Mike Benefiel. During Blanton’s senior year, he won an EPIC semi-final match against Chris Spangler, before winning his 3rd state title. These matches folks - Blanton / Benefiel and Blanton / Spangler - were two of the most anticipated matches of the 2000’s for Illinois fans. After high school, Jordan won 3 All American honors for the Fighting Illini. Today, he runs his family’s business - J Blanton Plumbing - and co-owns the Relentless Training Center with fellow state champion Ryan Prater. Enjoy it folks!
