I was spending some time in Mexico on my honeymoon.

It was a great time, but I'm very, very glad to be back.

And so today we're going to be discussing a topic in the category of church leadership.

So we're going to be doing this because we know that

Christ ultimately builds his church. But with that being said, local churches very often will

rise and fall based on the actions of their leaders. And so we want churches all around the

world to grow, to flourish, and to make disciples for the

glory of God. So if you're interested in thinking through these things, thinking about through

how to best position your church for growth, Aaron has a few things that he believes will

help you along to achieve that goal. So before we get

into some of the details and what this looks like practically, Aaron, I'm just curious why this

episode, what sort of foundational advice would you give to those who are interested in

expanding the reach and influence of gospel-centered churches?

Ultimately, I'm only responsible to pastor my own church, but I do want to see other churches flourish,

and especially at a point in time when there's so much evil in the world.

I want churches to be bright lights for Christ. I want them to be very tall lighthouses.

I want them to win many, many people to the Lord Jesus and be used by him to convert thousands
