0:03.1

Welcome back to our discussion on digital minimalism by Cal Newport.

0:08.3

We started this conversation back in episode 192.

0:12.1

And the big takeaway from that episode was tech companies and new technology apps are

0:17.6

taking advantage of behavioral addiction. They are creating apps that engage us,

0:25.5

but not just engage us from their content point of view. They engage compulsivity and they play

1:51.2

into compulsive behavior and then slide back into compulsive behavior with pornography.

1:58.3

So we'll get into that in a second.

2:00.2

We'll talk specifically today about practices and things you can do to break your

2:05.0

dependence on unhealthy technology.

2:08.7

But first, I want to shout out to everyone who listens to Porn Free Radio.
