It's super awesome to be back. And it is great to have you back. Where have you been? I've been like

1:04.1

a thousand places. I have not been podcasting. I feel a little bit guilty about it. Very much miss the partially derivative audience, very much

1:12.1

miss being on the show. I don't think we did this last year. So I'm super pumped to be doing this

1:15.9

again. But it's because I've been doing two things. I have a company, new knowledge. We're

1:22.5

focused on disinformation defense. So a lot of data science. Ultimately, we like to think that we're

1:27.8

protecting public discourse, improving democracy, big things like that, not at all pretentious.

1:32.3

That is a really awesome goal. And I suspect you, you've probably been busy, right?

1:36.8

1:47.3

tired of talking about like online manipulation and Facebook and Twitter and everything. And then

1:51.4

every month, it's like it gets worse, which is, you know, it's like a, it's a thing. But it's great.

1:56.2

And then there's also data for democracy, which is the nonprofit that I work on as well. And that's a community of about now 4,000

2:02.2

technologists and data scientists who are working on social impact projects. So also kind of mission aligned,

2:07.6

you know, democracy is cool. But yeah, but between those two things, I haven't had as much time to

2:12.0

podcast as I would have liked. But I'm glad, you know, back on the saddle. Well, I'll say if you're going to hang up your headphones and your microphone,
