Summary

Erik "Slingin' Rik" Barber puts a lot of time into hunting public land whitetails throughout the fall. In the past, Erik has had the best success using run and gun style tactics where he aggressively hunts an area once and then moves on to a different area. This season he tried some different tactics, using cell cameras for the first time ever. 0:05.4	Eric, as you may know, has been our friend for a long time.
0:08.9	We met him while working at Midwest White Tail.
0:11.8	He now lives back up in Wisconsin, which is where he's from, and we don't get to see
0:16.6	each other as much as we used to, and we definitely don't get to hunt together as much as

0:21.3	So, generally throughout the season, Eric and I are making multiple phone calls back and
0:25.4	forth kind of talking about what we've been doing, what we've been learning, maybe some
0:29.4	of the different and unique strategies that we've been talking about, but this season

0:34.6	So, we were trying to plan a phone call to just catch up, and I was like, hey man, let's
0:38.6	just record this because I feel like the best conversations that we have about hunting
0:43.6	usually take place when we just have these calls, when we're just kind of BS and about

0:48.6	So, on this podcast, we're going to touch on a lot of different subjects.
