Hello everyone and welcome to the History of England episode 192, Bosworth.

First of all, some admin.

I have been promising that we will cover the princes in the town, and so I can reveal

to you that we will do exactly the same routine as we went through with Richard and the

usurpation, and there will be once more prizes.

This time, first prize is a rather nice silver Henry III long cross penny from somewhere

between 1247 and 1272.

Second prize are again two cutcoins from the very same period 13th century.

After this episode today, I will post a page on the website, thehistoryofingland.com,

with all the details of how the process works.

During this week, I'll post some pages with handy summaries of the evidence and arguments

at the same place, and then next Sunday, next Sunday, we'll have the episode, The Blood

of Innocence, and voting, and a full and frank exchange of views, can begin.

Voting will close midnight, the 10th September, and the result will be the very next day,

cool or what.

Here we are at an event so well trodden, it sends a shiver of fear and terror up my spine.
