We are centering back to our man Nick in his writing this week.

We left Dominic Dunn reporting back in Vanity Fair in October of 1993 with the prosecution's

case of the Menendez brothers. Dominic Dunn's next submission is from the spring of 1994 in

March of that year. The whole first trial is over at this point, and it does, as we know,

result in two hung juries for Eric and Lyle Menendez.

Their second trial will not go down the same way, as there is a whole lot that happens to turn the whole world's eyes onto the criminal justice system in Los Angeles coming in June of 1994 with the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.

It is almost impossible to separate Dominic Dunn's coverage of the Menendez brothers in their

second trial away from O.J. Simpson. It really does all connect by 1996, but today, here on Dun & Dun, we're

still living in 1994. Our man Nick has a whole lot of thoughts about the way that first trial

went down and all the other courtroom happenings as well.
