I don't know why this happens, but I'll run into scripture that like I should have noticed this before.

But then I'm like, boy, it's like screaming at me now.

Yeah.

So in 2 Corinthians I was thinking about this because like our experience has been as we've

given as a family to the poor we've been fine in fact we've been able to give more and more yeah

well it specifically says in second Corinthians that's so weird that you're doing

this because that's what I'm studying right now. Really? It really is.

It smacked me in the face like the last couple of days.

It literally says this, hear me out.

It says, remember this, and this is for the poor.

It's not just any religious project or something, good card, for the poor.

Remember this a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop but

the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give.

This is taking up a collection for the poor. And don't give reluctantly or in response to

pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully and God will generously provide all you need.

Then you'll always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

As the scriptures say, they share freely and give generously to the poor.
