Welcome to this episode of The How of Business. This is Henry Lopez, and I'm excited to have with us today. Captain Jim Palmer. Jim, welcome to the show. Henry, thanks for having me on, man. I love your show.

Thank you. I'm excited to have you with us. So Jim is a serial entrepreneur, a marketing expert and an in-demand small business coach. In fact, he was just on a couple of calls this morning, I believe.

For the last 30 years, Jim and his wife, Stephanie, were practical and predictable,

living a modest life in a suburban Philadelphia neighborhood where they raised four children.

In 2016, however, Jim and Stephanie traded in practical and predictable for adventurous and exciting.

They sold their home of 30 years to live on their boat full time, and only then that Jim says he truly leveraged his dream business to live his dream lifestyle.

Captain Jim, as he goes by, is the founder of the Dream Business Academy, a live business building seminar, and the Dream Business Mastermind and Coaching Program.

He is a video marketer and podcaster.

His podcast is called Dream Business Radio, and it has been airing since

2012, which is quite some time. Great podcast. He's also taught thousands of entrepreneurs,

both virtually and one-on-one in his mastermind and coaching programs. He's written and published

seven books about marketing

and business building strategies and has started and grown his own multiple six-figure businesses.

Today, from his floating home, Captain Jim teaches entrepreneurs and small business owners

how to create their dream business so they can live their dream

lifestyle. So in today's episode, Jim's going to share with us briefly his journey, how he got

to where he is today, especially the part about living on a boat. And we're going to type into
