Summary

In the aftermath of President McKinley’s assassination at the hands of an anarchist, Vice President Teddy Roosevelt, a man known for his physical and mental strength, rises to power and to the occasion. In the 1904 contest, the Democrats, and their candidate Judge Alton B Parker, learn a hard lesson about Teddy Roosevelt: anyone standing in his way is bound to suffer a beating.

It's a cold summer night in 1884, outside Nolan's hotel in Mingusville, Montana.

A weary traveler strides through the streets, exhausted from the road.

He's had a rough year.

To escape the pain, the traveler has treased himself to a private soldier, a horseback

Tonight there's only one thing his heart desires, quiet drink.

But as the traveler approaches the entrance to the hotel's tavern, two gunshots ring out

He's clearly trouble in the tavern, but it's a cold night and there's nowhere else to
