Today, we're going to tell you what the Nintendo of America president actually does.

There seems to be some confusion.

Now that we have a new president with Doug retiring and Devon taking over,

thought it would be a good time to really get into the nitty-gritty of like, what is this person's

actual job? Also, part of this confusion seems like this whole idea between like president

and COO and CEO. So there's a lot of kind of things about how Nintendo works that we want to explain here today

to alleviate the confusion.

Yes, depending on where you look, you might be seeing people saying, oh, we're definitely

getting these new Pikmin games because Devin Pritchard had a photograph with a

pickman character or we're getting more Yolai watch because Shibata

did a direct segment with Yolka watch 10 years ago.

Okay, but we're going to talk about this. We're equipped to talk about this. We know what this job actually does.

every week had like game release yeah triple booked we had so many things going on. I mean, you were in the midst of the holiday season at that point. So it made sense. But it just starts to really heat up. So we had this joke where we would change the name October to Shocktober. And we, you know, in our team meetings, we were like, everybody gird yourselves for Shocktober. He didn't know like this. I was going to say, our boss at the time was a very humorless man. And he did not like. What's not the like? Get ready. Well, he was actually stressed. I think that was. Oh, it stressed him out. It stressed about like in IRL. but for us, we thought it was funny. We were already stressed out.

We were stressed in like, like, we needed ways to cope with it. Exactly. We thought it was like a humorous thing to cope with the stress. But he was actually like, you're not taking this seriously. I'm actually stressed out. You guys shouldn't be laughing. Wipe that smile off your face. face and were like, okay. Back to crying, it is. Back to rocking in the corner. It is. Yes. Anyways.
