Let's talk about family trips.

Listen, there is so much planning and work that goes into taking a family trip,

but there's also these golden memories of play and adventure that comes out of that work.

Today I'm going to share with you how we work hard and we play hard on family trips,

and I'll share my favorite tips to hopefully make your next

family trip a little bit easier.

Simply put, that is where our life and our legacy take place.

This is a podcast all about learning to work and play well, which leads to a healthy soul and a fulfilling life.

So here we are coming out of this first season of the year, the first quarter of this year, and we are already looking towards summer. I know my kids and I kind of have the countdown going.

It's only like a handful of weeks until we're

home for summer. And that's crazy. And a lot of times summer means travel. Now for us, this year has

been so different and I don't know. It just has been like an odd year for travel. We have

front-loaded our travel and we did so much travel

in January and February. We took a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We took a trip to Nashville, Tennessee

to visit my family. We took a trip to Disney World. My husband and I flew out west to Utah to go skiing.

We're crazy people. We have been crazy people. And honestly, this travel has

kind of done me in. And the day that I am recording this episode, we are going on another

family trip to Beaufort, North Carolina. It's about three and a half hours from our house.

We're meeting some extended family there. It's going to be great, but we are leaving tonight.
