Small talk sucks, so let's dive in.

In last week's episode, we went through Aaron's interview with the detective

and all of the new information, which came with several inconsistencies,

conflicting statements, and added details which never seemed to be addressed.

At the end of the episode, we talked about how just a day after that interview,

Vicki was called into the station only to be told that Katie and Rifers case was being closed,

which seems absurd since at that time,

Katie's toxicology results still hadn't come in,

and neither autopsy report had been fully completed.
