Today we'll be talking with Seth Lake about the NTSB's probable cause for a King Air 350 crash

that killed 10 people in 2019 in Addison, Texas.

From Mirage news.com a pilot who overflued his destination and was unresponsive to atc calls for 40 minutes had fallen asleep due to fatigue likely exacerbated by

mild hypoxia from the intermittent use of supplemental oxygen. ATSB investigation is found.

Now, the ATSB, of course, is in Australia where this incident happened.

The pilot was conducting a ferry flight of a Cessna 208B caravan from Cairns, Queensland to Redcliffe in July of 2020.

While cruising feet, the pilot encountered unforecast icing conditions

and poor visibility, climbed to 11,000 feet, and began using the supplemental oxygen system intermittently.
