| 0:00.0 | Well, welcome to the podcast. My name is Stefan, and I'm sitting here by myself. And Josh and Austin are going to be joining me here shortly. Unfortunately, they're doing other things, so they don't really want to come hang out with me. But we're enjoying the time alone. So you and I are going to chat. Actually, I think TJ is going to come over and hang out with me. What's up, Tage? Hey, how's it going? We got a podcast agenda. Yeah, we got a whole agenda today. It's been a long time since I've been on the podcast, actually. It's been kind of a while. And so actually, Josh is coming over. It's kind of cool. Josh is here right now. We're really, we're really recording. Talk about calling us out. |
| 0:54.8 | Wow. |
| 1:32.1 | It's great, man. You know what? You're going to do that way. I'm getting coffee. Yeah. No, it's true. Oh, dude. We have fun here on the FT podcast. We all love it. But yeah, TJ, what's happening, man? How you've been? Pretty've been down, you've been down south doing some cool stuff lately, which is kind of cool. You've been hanging out down there running the show and pushing things and getting things in. Everybody behind the scenes, it really keeps us rolling. That's right, man. That's right. Community supports us through the store and these guys support the store. Yep. Indeed. Thank you to all the people at our location down in New Philadelphia where they are crushing it with, you know, products and just making them and shipping them, fulfilling them. |
| 1:37.2 | All your orders go straight through those guys. |
| 1:40.1 | So thank you for ordering. |
| 1:41.6 | Thank you for purchasing. |
| 1:42.8 | And also thanks to the crew down in New Philly for to straight crushing it as of lately, which is neat. So you're being all sassy here. Dude, you know, sassy is my middle name. Stefan Sassy, Yostrigan. That's what they call it. What we're trying to do is the quickest product turnaround in the history of flight test, which is the tiny move. Ooh, yes. That's awesome. Big shout out to Alex, because Alex reached out to us. What's Alex's last name? I can't really pronounce it well. It's like disengrovy or something like that. This is going to be like our first little royalty program. Yes. Which is really cool. And that's going to be a big part of 2018 is really letting our awesome community because I see so many awesome designs, use the flight test platform to not only contribute, |
| 2:01.7 | make products. of 2018 is really letting our awesome community because I see so many awesome designs use the |
| 2:18.9 | flight test platform to not only contribute, make products support flight tests, but also |
| 2:22.9 | start making their passions or professions too. |
| 2:25.6 | Right. |
| 2:25.8 | And it's pretty cool because this started getting a lot of traction and Alex kind of, you know, |
| 2:31.0 | sent us an email through our support and the the guy's just, the guy's just a |
| 2:35.2 | really cool, really cool dude. We had a couple of conversations with him. And just really looking |
| 2:40.2 | forward to seeing what 2018, like you said, brings with those kinds of things. So yeah, so it's |
| 2:45.9 | going to be a royalty program. We're looking forward to seeing how the community engages with it. It's going to be like four little tiny woof kits in like one plank because frankly we have to put forward because it'd be too small of a kit otherwise. All right. T.J., thanks for coming, man. We really appreciate it. Austin's coming back in. That was a substitution. I was happy with that arrangement. Which was pretty cool. Are you saying you don't want to do a podcast? Not at all. I just think TJ is a much more articulate than I am. Oh, wow. I'm jealous. TJ, you are articulate and he loves you. He's a gentleman. A guy that's caller. So you're going to hear me distracted halfway through here because they're literally putting the one rendition. |
| 3:22.7 | We modified the tiny move to kind of like testify it a little bit. Tap it together, make it easy to build, things like that, a little more durable. But so, yeah, you may hear some foam rustling around during this podcast. It's just because our goal is to have it on the store by tomorrow. Oh, my goodness. By tomorrow? What's that mean? Like, what's included? So what the tiny move is basically? |
| 4:16.0 | And I'm asking because I generally don't know. Oh, okay. This is to inform me and the listeners. I like that. See, he always brings out the best. So what the tiny move is, first of all, is you take an inductrix. You take the gear off the inductrics, control board, the four motors, et cetera, and you put it on either a 3D printed or a small little phone board hovercraft kit. And so it's literally not much bigger than a tiny whoop and has a LFP cam and you can race it all over concrete floors, gymnasium floors, things like that. It's a lot of fun. We went ahead and put a couple tweaks on there. We're playing with some different low friction plastic on the bottom just to make it kind of glad even easier and make it build really easy. really easy but the kit's just going to be literally these little foam board bodies that you build and then you will have a couple as a combo where you can get the |
| 4:17.2 | little inductrics kit and throw it in there and everything you need if you never if you don't have an inductrics or you can just get the kits and you know everyone has like broken inductrics laying around especially if you're if you do a lot of tiny whooping yep so yeah spare parts for days well that's fun yeah i like that it'll be a blest. And if you haven't seen some of the videos floating around on the flight test fans page and other areas, people just love it. |
| 4:55.2 | I mean, they're super stoked about it. |
| 4:56.9 | And it's just something that's fun, easy to build, easy to mess around with. |
| 5:00.8 | And it stays on the ground. |
