on today's episode of escapherit tank i have an old guest that had a long time go dean del rei

who's a comedian and los angeles a newer comedian he was on my podcast a long time like a couple

years ago maybe even from the old escapherit tank studios at my apartment in los angeles which by the

way oh news so anyone who's listening to this podcast for a while know the mess i was going through

with that apartment not the one in new york but to get out of the one in l a when they had to pay me

to get out because what okay if you don't know west hollywood renters laws are really good for the

renter so they were going to tear my building down and build condos and shops and stuff and

anyone who lives there to kick them out they had to give us like 13 or 17 grand depending on your

income and so for the last like six years we've been pretty much held hostage to this idea of

getting 13 grand so like any i want to move out of there so much before so long before

but i just didn't because i'm not gonna give up a 13 grand and then this last year i was i

thought it was close anyway i finagled away i was like are i just buying me out i said i'm

putting in every repair ever wanted to put in i'm lazy as shit but like every repair that came in
