Hello, everyone. grace and peace from our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Shammel at Shemell Lakin on Twitter for those of you who like to follow me.

The Bible says, I want you all to know about the miraculous signs and wonders

the most high God has performed for me. Daniel 4.2. That is why I am completely honored to be able

to encourage you all through this podcast. I felt the spirit of God moved me to tell my own testimony,

and perhaps my story will inspire you to believe in the name of Jesus Christ and come to a place

of great faith. It would take a book to explain to you how God has moved in my life. Let me start by saying that God has guided me through the tough streets of New York City.

My father wasn't in the picture, and my mom was never present.

So I had to raise myself and my two younger brothers on my own.

You name it, I've probably seen it.

Whether it was drug dealings, prostitution, robberies, or worse.

I have seen way too many of these vile things throughout my life,

and many of my friends didn't even make it to see their 21st birthday. I myself being a victim of crime.

When I was around 18 years old, I was arrested for a crime that I didn't even commit.

The eight police vehicles stopped the car was driving at gunpoint, along with three other passengers inside.

I was shocked because the car had the keys, and I was in the care of one of the passengers who was

present at the time. In fact, let me drive. We were all arrested and taken to the precinct,

where the detectives began to interrogate me.

They began to ask me, why did I do it?

I responded, do what?

They said, put the gun to the lady's head and carjack her vehicle.
