0:25.0	Today I have a game that we're going to play that was actually inspired by an email I got from Christian Glossner.
0:33.0	He gave me the idea to do a little game where you have to guess the horror movies based on the reviews it got when it came out.
0:41.0	So, famously a lot of horror movies like The Shining I think is one a lot of people think of as a movie that is a classic now but got kind of shitty reviews when it first came out.
0:52.0	So when I was putting this episode together the reviews of one person in particular stood out to me as working especially well for this some tweaking Christians original idea a little bit and we're going to do reviews that are all by one person.

1:09.0	That person is Roger Evert.
1:11.0	Yeah it is.
1:12.0	So Roger Evert and horror have a famously complicated relationship.

1:20.0	No, because I remember horror films were the first kind of films that I got really into and I would always hear about and read Roger Evert's opinions on them and be like who the fuck is this guy?

1:40.0	We learned about film criticism as an art into of itself and I've come to really appreciate Roger Evert but yeah it's a complicated relationship.
1:48.0	Yeah, so if you ask a lot of horror fans about Roger Evert they many or most would say all that guy hates horror and this image of him hating horror probably has origins with a specific episode of at the movies hosted by Siskel and Ebert.
2:03.0	If you are really young or don't know about Siskel and Ebert they had a show where they would review new releases.
2:10.0	Yeah, so it was Siskel and Ebert and then Siskel died and then he became Ebert and Roper.
