Well today, Paul, we're leaving the south coast and heading inland and north to Wales and to one of the most magical lakes in the British Isles.

It's a place of treasure and ritual, and its importance spans the bronze and iron ages. It's Hlynvauer in the Kynon Valley.

It's a fairly remote spot when you get there. It's proper countryside. It's a reservoir, a lake of water in the shadow of a small mountain with a fairly steep face on it.
