Damn, she's our angel. She also texted me this week because she wanted to know who the woman was.

And did you tell her? Oh yes, I did. Very much appreciated her support.

By woman in case you didn't hear last episode, you were spiraling because you met a really powerful, cool lady on vacation and you thought you guys were going to be friends and that did not happen.

You know, sorry, I'll dive into a follow up on that, but is anyone else listening? Yeah, yeah, we got a bunch. Here's one from Singing Fan. I like that.

Might be some more music talk coming down the road. That is very true. Yeah, yeah.

So what I wanted to say was, you know, the friends that didn't happen and the friend that never came to be obviously has taken up a lot of my bandwidth on the podcast in my room.

And my boss said something to me like along the lines of like, I can't believe you would ever doubt your like what you bring to the table friendship wise or something like that.

Oh, that's very sweet. Very sweet. I agree with your boss.

And I was thinking about it. There's something about vacation friends that goes back to my childhood, like we used to go every summer to Orlando for a few weeks.

And I almost felt like the friends I had there and it was my grandma's house. So I would like make friends in the neighborhood.

Sometimes like they would have moved away and it would be like I'm never seeing them again. But many of them were just there every year, year after year.

And it was almost like those friendships were just as important as my home friendships. And there was something like magical and special about it is almost like a no strings attached friendship.

Yeah. And so that's why I think I loved the idea of this friendship. But ultimately, if I wasn't the right fit for her, I wasn't the right fit for her. That's fine.

Yeah. And I think when you're at that level and like that powerful, there are people in your orbit that are small fries.

It was Sheryl Sandberg. Let's just say it was Sheryl Sandberg. But you know, there's small fries. And then there's people that like are important. And you're kind of a small fry in this situation.

And you don't necessarily have to take that personally.
