We've got Garrett

Gunnerson on the show and today Garrett is going to share some

shall we say contrarian advice about tax savings as well as your

retirement plan.

And let me give you some context here.

Garrett is speaking in front of a room of fitness entrepreneurs,

like these are business owners.

And as you know, I firmly believe that your way to wealth

especially generational wealth is through owning your own business and being an

entrepreneur and I got a quick story about this. I sold my house in San Diego in 2022, summer of 2022, and I did really well.

And I'm like, okay, I don't want to buy another house because I don't know where I really want to live for a long period of time.

So I was like, what can I do to grow this money? I was like, maybe I'll buy some property and rent it out and I'm like, now that's not my thing.

I said, okay, how about the stock market? I was like yeah let's do a stock market. Let's see if I can multiply this money in the stock market. So I read dozens of books on the stock market and investing.

I know a lot of stuff about the stock market now, it's kind of crazy.

And I was actually doing really well in the stock market.

You know, there are a lot of ups, some downs, but mostly ups when I was investing.

And then September happened.
