Hey everybody so if you remember last week's episode we were talking about

tracking in the Adirondacks and this week's episode is kind of an extension of

that it's the same group of guys that we had on last week's episode and we're

gonna be talking about Bigwood's hunting in the Northeast but in this

episode instead of talking about tracking we're gonna be talking about bow

hunting and just drag around hunting in general so our friend Brett Joy lives

up in New Hampshire and he spends just so much time studying the deer up

there he uses a bunch of trail cameras and he's always out scouting looking for

different spots just trying to learn more about it all the time so let's

go to listen to his perspective on everything and just in general listen

to these guys with more experience than me talk about hunting up there is a lot

of fun so obviously this time of the year we're doing a lot of gun hunting and

one thing that I think is super important is having a good scope on your gun I

hunt in a variety of different situations when gun hunting so I like a

wide field of view that way I can take close-range shots or zoom the scope in to

have that more precise shot out at longer ranges and the scope that I use on my

450 bushmaster which is what I primarily gun hunt with is a vortex fiber HS 2.5

to 10 by 42 I love that thing it's awesome for anything close-range maybe

doing deer drives or sneaking through thickets or maybe tracking in the snow

it's just great to have that really really low power with that 2.5 that's what

I have it on at all times and then if I need to zoom in on a little bit

further shot where I need to be more precise I've got the ability to go up to
