Something I think would be really hard for me to be a believer in Jesus

is if the Bible didn't talk about suffering.

But it does, over and over from a thousand different angles,

it acknowledges suffering, deals with it as a reality.

Doesn't give you a little children's book answer to sum it all up.

Yeah.

But it does deal with it, and in fact, God himself suffers. He understands. So when some people walk away

they're like well how could suffering like okay but the Bible doesn't ignore it.

It's not like it just glosses over at all.

It grapples with it, and again, God himself understands it.

They called the police. They felt like they had to, police were called to an apartment after neighbors complained about hearing loud banging noises and crying in the early hours of the morning.

When the police arrived, the detectives discovered

a young couple was just trying to assemble furniture they bought from IKEA. Sounded about right to you?

Oh, this checks out.
