Last week was my favorite week of the whole year, TCS New York City Marathon Week.

I've always said there are so many ways to enjoy Marathon Sunday in New York.

You can run it, you can spectate, you can volunteer, you can watch the race on TV.

I've done all of those, but this year I got the best seed in the house.

I fulfilled one of my biggest dreams by getting to be one of the official TCS New York City Marathon race announcers at the finish line.

I have so much to say about the experience and the entire week leading up to it.

So I'm going to spend the first half of this episode breaking down some of the highlights of my week

and then I'll get to the Q&A portion of the episode where I will answer a whole bunch of the listener questions I received over Instagram stories.

And I have a lot to say with what's left of these vocal cords.

So I knew that going into this year's TCS New York City Marathon week, that it would be a busy week for me.

But it wasn't until the last like two weeks before the race that all of these cool opportunities started coming my way.

So I thought it would be fun for me, maybe only I don't know.

I just want to break down and reflect on the week because there was so much cool stuff that happened.

And if only for my own memory, I want to have all of this documented.

So Brian was traveling the not the whole week, but he was traveling for the first like four days of the week.
