I've got some eerie stories for you.

First responders are trained to deal with chaos.

While everyone else is running away, they run towards danger,

into places and situations most people would never want to see.

And because of that, they see things that the rest of us don't.

Tonight, we have true ghost encounters from first responders.

Our first story.

I've been a police officer for about five years now, and when you work late shifts long enough,

you learn that the really strange things tend to happen after midnight. But there's one

night in particular that has stuck with me for years,

because even now, I still have no explanation for what I saw. It was close to the end of a shift,

sometime around one in the morning. My partner and I had just finished up the usual paperwork

from a call earlier that night. Nothing major just reports

we had to wrap up before we could finally head home. Eventually, we finished everything and started

packing up. My partner grabbed his jacket, said good night, and walked out toward the parking lot.

I remember hearing the main door shut behind him.

I stayed behind for a few minutes, finishing something on the computer.

The station was pretty quiet at that point, just the occasional crackle from the radio.

After I finished up, I shut down the computer and started heading toward the exit.

On the way out, you pass this small office that's usually used for interviews. The lights were off inside, but as I walked past
