Announcement. The announcement is not coming this week, it's coming next week. As many of you know, I've gone through a series of health issues quite compromising over the last month plus.

Thankfully, I'm on the other side of that mountain, I'm on the mend. Still to be careful about a couple things, but the schedule had to be severely altered.

Now we're back on track, and the announcement episode is coming next week, but the patreon is going to be radically changed very soon. Get ready for that with this, a movie club.

Because the movie clubs are now going to be a part of the regular Craig and Friends feed. The option to be part of the movie club before it gets to tape is going to be part of the patreon going forward, but there's going to be a lot of new features, lower price tiers, and a whole lot of exciting changes.

Starting the health issues, I'll be getting into those in more detail in upcoming episodes after the big announcement episode, which is coming next week.

And given my deep abiding obsession with the village people and their complete catalog, we get into their post-can't stop the music career, featuring their new romantic remake as featured on the Renaissance album.

But don't worry, village people fans, we discuss Fox on the box, we discuss sex over the phone, we discuss it all.

We taped this probably midway into the heart of the pandemic, but a remarkably were in very up-spirited moods.

Maybe because it was such a delight to not discuss what was going on around us, and focus on the magic of the village people classic.

Hello, thank you for having me. I could not believe when you told me the existence of this film.

That was fun, let's recount it for the listeners. So you had a little bit of a deep dive into the village people history before we started talking about this.

And what spurred that on? You saw a documentary, right?

Yeah, well, unofficially, I'm working on a book that takes place in modern, it has two narrators and one part of it takes place in modern day.

And one part of it takes place in the mid to late 70s.

And so I wanted to like, I know the rock era of that time, but I don't know a lot about, I didn't previously know a lot about the disco era.

And I had listened to an episode of a podcast called You're Wrong About where they talked about disco demolition night.
