Sixteen year old Sylvia Likens was mutilated, tortured, and murdered by Gertrude Baniszewski on October 26, 1965 in Indianapolis. Sylvia was locked in the basement by Gertrude and coached local boys to perform sadistic and vile acts on her before killing her.
